This recipe makes 16 meatballs

Greek Meatballs Ingredients:

  • 1 lbs of extra lean ground turkey

  • 1/4 cup panko bread crumbs

  • 1/4 cup chopped red onion

  • 1/4 cup crumbled feta

  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced

  • 1 large egg

  • 2 tsp dried oregano

  • 1 tsp dried dill

  • salt and pepper, to taste

Additional topping Ideas:

  • Tzatziki Sauce

  • Greek Salad

  • Greek Lemon Rice

  • Sweet Potato Fries

  • Mixed Greens

  • Pita

Greek Meatballs Recipe:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400-degrees F.

  2. Prep your ingredients by chopping the red onion, crumbling the feta, and mincing the garlic.

  3. Add all of the ingredients into a large bowl and mix them together with your hands until well combined.

  4. Form 16 even balls and place them on a greased baking sheet.

  5. Bake for 20 minutes. Flip and bake for an additional 10 minutes.

  6. Serve with your choice of toppings or accompaniments.

  7. OPTIONALLY: Pan fry in some oil after they are fully cooked to add browning to your meatballs (baked ground turkey can sometimes come out grey and looks less appetizing).
