Steamed Pork Cabbage Dumplings

Ingredients:
8 large napa cabbage leaves
300 grams of lean ground pork
1/2 cup of chopped carrots
1/2 cup of chopped onions
1 tsp garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Recipe:
Blanch the cabbage leaves in hot water until they become soft and more malleable to work with.
In a bowl, mix together the ground pork, carrot, onions, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
Evenly separate the pork mixture into 8 portions and roll each portion within a cabbage leaf to make a cabbage roll.
Steam the cabbage dumplings for 20-25 minutes.
Optional: Drizzle with your favourite sauce. We like hoisin or peanut sauce in our household.
