Ham, Swiss, and Pear Panini

Ingredients:

  • 2 smalls slices of sourdough

  • 6 slices of Black Forest ham

  • 2 slices of Swiss cheese

  • 1/2 of a raw pear, thinly sliced

Recipe:

(Note: If you don't have a panini press, you can do this on the stove with a pan and spatula)

  1. Thinly slice a pear.

  2. Create a sandwich by layering Black Forest ham, Swiss cheese, and the thinly sliced pears in between two slices of sourdough.

  3. IF YOU HAVE A PANINI PRESS: Heat up your panini press and press the sandwich until the cheese is melted and there are nice grill marks outside of the sourdough.

  4. IF YOU ARE USING A PAN: Preheat the pan with 1 tbsp of butter (not included in macros). Pan fry the sandwich on both sides until the cheese is melted and the outside of the sourdough is golden brown.
